Dr Denise Meyerson

Dr Denise Meyerson

Educational Director

Dr Denise Meyerson partners with leading organisations to ensure that they derive full benefit from all training to drive productivity improvements.
She is committed to getting the best performance out of team members and to transforming dysfunctional teams into becoming highly motivated and results-oriented.

As Managing Director of Management Consultancy International, Denise consults to seriously innovative organisations such as IAG, Telstra, Qantas and Suncorp to energise their teams and develop a positive team culture. What organisations value in her services is her ability to use the appropriate learning methodology to drive change and to develop managers in to leaders. She is particularly passionate about the Women in Management program that she developed to build a strong cohort of women who are confident in taking the next step in their career development.

Denise is invited to speak at several conferences annually and she values the opportunity to share her insights to help people play to their strengths. She has also shared her knowledge in several articles for HR journals and magazines on topics such as 'Guidelines to get the most out of your training budget' and 'Making elearning and virtual learning work for you'.

She holds a Masters Degree as well as a PhD in English and has been appointed an honorary member of City and Guilds, the largest examining body in the UK, in recognition of her significant involvement in and contribution to vocational training and education.

Denise has in the past served as a Director of an education company listed on the South African Stock Exchange. Her organisation provided a range of adult basic training programs to disadvantaged communities seeking to uplift skills levels. Denise consulted to several ministerial committees on the formation and building of the South African qualifications framework.

She is one of four facilitators worldwide trained to master trainer status by the LEGO Group to deliver and use the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology.
She has facilitated sessions in the USA, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa for organisations such as Microsoft, Chanel and Coca Cola.

She has been trained in the UK as an internal facilitator for the Investors in People Standard and is registered as an advisor in Australia for the use of this human resource benchmark. Denise also holds a Diploma in Training and Assessment as well as Diplomas in management, journalism and public relations.

Denise is happiest when she sees participants use what they know to make a real difference in their organisations and perform with growth mindsets to achieve top results. She enjoys knowing that through the methodologies available at Management Consultancy International, she is able to train someone in a regional town just as effectively as in face to face sessions.

She is incredibly proud of the awards that Management Consultancy International has received in recognition of their design and delivery of programs that have had measurable impact on organisations - in some cases saving the company substantial amounts of money!

Dylan Rabie

RTO Manager

Dylan is responsible for the management and integrity of Management Consultancy International’s Learning and Development and Administration systems. His years of experience in best practise RTOs ensures MCI is well managed and continuously developing. Dylan also manages MCI’s government funding, eLearning and I.T. systems.

Dylan has completed nationally recognised qualifications in Management, Project Management, Human Resources, Business Administration and Training & Assessment and is currently undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Information Technology.

Dylan has enjoyed being a part of the team building, change management and strategy development sessions run by MCI utilising the LEGO Serious Play methodology. These sessions have been run for small and large companies including ASX listed corporations.

Jenna Meyerson

Marketing and eLearning Manager

Jenna is responsible for creating innovative training solutions for MCI's wide range of clientele. Her specialties lie within the ever growing eLearning and online training fields. She is commited to revolutionising the way in which eLearning is delivered at MCI by utilising exciting and highly interactive new approaches.

Jenna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. She has also completed nationally recognised qualifications in Customer Service and programs in the USA in the eLearning and presentation skills fields.

Jenna has been part of many team building, change management and strategy development sessions utilising the LEGO Serious Play methodology. She has assisted a variety of small and large companies, including ASX listed corporations, to implement immediate and effective changes within their organisations.

Barry Benjamin

National Manager of Development and Facilitation

For many years Barry has worked with organisations and private individuals to enhance their management styles, systems and inter-personal skills. Barry has worked with blue chip companies in the Retail, Recruitment, Construction, Manufacturing, Finance, Transport, I T, Marketing and Security industries, as well as Government Agencies such as Westpac, RTA, CBA, Royal Wolf, Toll, Suncorp, Bosch, RBS; Wyong, Bankstown, Marrickville and Fairfield councils; Lloyds Bank, Royal Mail, Roger Bullivant, Hewlett Packard, British Airways and Thames Valley Police - to name but a few.

Due to his experience of working in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Scandinavia, throughout Europe, England, and South Africa, Barry is able to work closely with people at all levels and ages as well as from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

After leaving teaching, Barry studied psychology, psychometrics and coaching. He also holds certificates in Behavioural Analysis, Management, Training and Assessment, Business Sales, Customer Contact, Human Resources, Business Administration and certificates A & B from the British Psychology Society.

Kerri Blackstone

Trainer & Facilitator

Kerri Blackstone has worked as a corporate trainer for over nine years and has experience in many sectors including banking, logistics, insurance, IT, public service and construction. She holds an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology and a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Psychology and Corporate Communications.

Kerri’s focus at MCI is to assist organisations to develop and grow individual leadership and management skills as well as improving the skills base of their customer service groups. She is an expert in training trainers and has received excellent feedback from groups in organisations such as Australia Post, CommInsure, Deutshe Bank, Suncorp Bank and Allianz Insurance.

Her flexibility, patience and personable approach, ensure that her training is tailored to meet the unique needs of each group. Feedback from participants includes comments such as, “Kerri made such an effort to tailor the program to our requirements. Kerri has been awarded her Licentiate Diploma in Speech and Drama Teaching at the Trinity College of London and this ensures that her training is professional, engaging and dynamic. Her presentation skills are energetic; her explanations thorough and her activities vibrant. She has the ability and to stimulate self reflection and innovative thinking which encourages robust discussions and meaningful action plans for change.

Alasdair Stark

Organisational Facilitator

Alasdair is a highly-experienced facilitator and trainer. He has over fifteen years’ experience in Learning & Development, having started this vocational pathway as a sales trainer with Bayer pharmaceuticals in 1994.

Alasdair brings his extensive experience in multiple corporate, voluntary and public sectors to all teams, projects, training programs and learning events.

Being Certificate IV qualified in Training & Assessment, a certified NLP Practitioner and also a qualified MBTI Practitioner, Alasdair uses an array of communication techniques and skills in his facilitation, drawing on a wealth of experience with vastly differing audiences, from undergraduate university students and admin staff, to managers of all levels, boardroom directors and CEOs.

His training and facilitation style is confident, inspiring and energetic, with all learning events being highly interactive and participative. Learners have described his style:

Harry Nathoo

Senior National Account Manager

Harry is responsible for business development, relationship management and managing strategic initiatives and alliances for the development of Vocational Education Training programs and corporate training solutions in Australia and across Asia. His prior experience in sales and marketing within Media; legal administration in Insurance and business development in Hospitality, Education and Recruitment services nationally, has allowed him to generate and manage a blue chip list of corporate clients at a national level.

Harry’s expertise lies in his ability to merge his business development skills and leadership acumen with the identification of career development and mentoring programs within financial services, strategic management, marketing and project management amongst others. At Management Consultancy International, he continues to conclude numerous personal development and career development programs within the public and private sectors and initiate further long-term growth for the business. Through his association with Job Services Australia Agencies and other government agencies and associations, he also assists with the skilled migrant programs and the skilling of the unemployed through government funded programs.

Harry holds a Bachelor of Law degree (B.Proc) from the University of South Africa (UNISA).

Natasha Wright

National Account Manager

Natasha specialises in creating training solutions for businesses around Australia providing specialist advice on upskilling their staff in various fields. Her experience ranges from small to medium sized businesses to global corporations where she tailors nationally recognised qualifications, team building sessions and strategic thinking using the Lego Serious Play Methodology, and professional development courses for both teams and individuals.

Natasha works closely with businesses and apprenticeship centres to help businesses secure and utilise Government funding to further develop their staff.

She has completed nationally recognised qualifications in Business Sales and Marketing, and is continuously developing her personal and professional skills along through various programs offered at MCI.

Natasha has used her passion for continuous improvement in learning and development to help her clients provide the most rewarding and beneficial training programs to achieve phenomenal results!

Electra Kolovos

Organisational Facilitator

With over 5 years of corporate learning and development experience in the retail and banking sectors Electra brings a practical understanding of current practice coupled with a passionate and energetic approach to facilitation and collaboration. A forward thinking individual Electra has a strong interest in further integrating learning with technology.

With leadership as well as facilitation experience Electra has developed and demonstrates a focus on bringing out the best in her constituents and cohorts in and out of the classroom. A success driven professional she has a personal approach to knowledge and skill development.

Electra creates great rapport with participants through her friendly personality and her flexible training style ensuring each group benefits from her facilitation style. She is enthusiastic about the work she does which further helps to engage her learners from the time she steps into the room. Her training is inclusive, fun and deeply experiential.

George Konstantin

Organisational Facilitator

George’s professional and facilitation experience of over 15 years in Australia began after university in the recruitment industry in 1998 and has since spanned a diverse range of industries and disciplines.

He has built a practical working knowledge of responsible and accountable management, business development and continuous improvement as a manager, financial and non-financial director in the small business and corporate spaces. Working in the vocational training sector, since the Australian Quality Training Framework was developed in 2000, he had led projects dealing with compliance and facilitation, business start-ups and partnerships.

With a working knowledge of the big picture through to the nuts and bolts George’s facilitation draws from his experiences in consulting, local and international business dealings, relationship building and business development skills as well as overall business operations management.

In practical terms roles have included establishment of registered training organisations in two states as a director, program development and facilitation of courses in: training and assessment, business development, financial services, nursing, business/management and marketing.

Jovi Stuart

Administrative Assistant

Jovi is responsible for the maintenance, design and integrity of Management Consultancy International's training materials. She brings her keen eye for detail and creative passion to ensure MCI continues to lead with cutting-edge support documentation.

Michael Paske

Account Executive

Michael draws on over 7 years of experience within the corporate training environment. In this time, he has worked in Australia as well as the United Kingdom servicing clients in a range of industries including government, accounting, construction, healthcare, legal and retail. Michael’s passion is providing customer-orientated training solutions that will develop and enhance his clients. He specialises in analysing a client's workforce to meet their individual training needs and partnering with them to enhance their training budget by utilising government funding as well as other grants.

Alan Segal

Account Executive

Alan has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals in competitive industries and cutting edge markets. Alan's strengths liw in strategic planning, business development, project and people management and system strategies. He uses these skills to assist his clients, across various industries, to enhance their levels of innovation and improve employee collaboration for business growth and profit.

Denis Furman

Financial Controller

Denis has been a South African Chartered Accountant for over 30 years. He joined MCI in early 2011 and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field. He has consulted for and audited large private and listed organisations. 

Administration Team

Administrators

The administration team is made up of Jordan, Zac, Sharon, Dillon, Judd, Josh S, Kasey, Jeremy, Daniel, Michael, Mark and Dylain. Collectively they assist in ensuring that the entire training process runs smoothly. Their responsibilities include: training room set up, material organisation, packaging of materials and portfolios, filing and administrative communications. The team brings a vibrant and enthusiastic attitude to everything that they do.
